SAS is a major international software company specializing in data processing software. Products encompass a wide range of statistical, business intelligence and analytical products for large enterprises in all sectors. These products are localized to 21 languages. Project management, engineering and terminologyrelated tasks supporting the localization process are carried out in the Copenhagen and Tokyo based localization offices. The following paper describes work carried out over several years by myself, Ronan Martin, and my colleague, Krzysztof Jozefowicz, both based in the Copenhagen office.
